Where are you located?
We are located in the Lordship section of Stratford, CT, at the corner of Prospect Drive and Crown Street.
Our address is 179 Prospect Drive, Stratford, CT
Where do I park?
We have two parking lots, one located on Prospect Drive, and another on Crown Street. You can also park on either street.
What is the service like?
Our worship services begin at 10:00 am (9:30 am from mid-June through Labor Day weekend). Our service blends traditional elements with new ideas. Services include elements of music, scripture, and prayer. We are a pretty casual group, so don’t worry about what to wear or what to do. Just show up as you are and open your heart to our God.
Do I need to be a member to participate in Holy Communion?
Nope. All are welcome, including children, to share in the feast at Christ’s table. Currently, we celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of each month and on certain other holy days.
Are kids welcome?
Absolutely! It is important for families to worship together. Don’t feel your child must be absolutely quiet or still, for we are glad to have children—and all their wiggles, giggles, and squiggles—as part of our community and worship life! After all, as an old saying goes, “faith is caught, not taught!”
(The following may not be available due to COVID restrictions - contact us for specific details)
For families who prefer, there is nursery care each Sunday for children age 3 and under. The nursery is located at the end of the hall on the left when you go through the door at the front of the Sanctuary. Please ask an usher if you need help finding it. Sunday School for ages 3 – 6th grade occurs in our one-room-schoolhouse model. Kids will leave worship after the Children’s time and parents can pick them up in the Parlor (at end of the hall on the right) after the Benediction.
Who do I speak to about Baptism?
We gladly offer the sign and seal of God’s grace in the waters of baptism, both to children and adults of any age. For more information, contact the pastor.
